The customer had already researched solar water heating systems quite extensively and after a very positive initial meeting we decided to pair a Worcester Bosch FKT-1S in-roof system with a Santon 210 Ltr unvented solar cylinder. This would give the customer a state of the art solar water heating system with his desired mains pressure hot water output.
I am writing following the installation of solar heating by your company. From our first meeting, I was delighted with the professional way in which the whole process was conducted - especially as all discussions revolved around the technical aspects with no hint of a 'hard sell'. The pedigree of the components was more than matched by the competence of the installers (Mick and Des) who demonstrated not only the highest technical competence but were excellent ambassadors for your company. Interestingly, although we have had several overcast days with some sunshine over the last week, the gas boiler has been switched off and we have used purely 'solar water'.
Once again, thank you for a job well done.

This customer was a local developer who was building a new house for himself. The natural slate roof had already been laid and the solar system was somewhat of an after thought. Because of this, we decided not to lift the newly fitted slates and installed a Grant on-roof solar water heating system.
‘Right from the start Itsolar provided a professional and expert service. The initial discussions were informative and I feel, helped us choose the right system and installation. I really can’t believe how much hot water the system provides, even on days when the sun seems to be in and out.’

The customer stated during initial discussions that he required large amounts of hot water to cater for a number of guests that visited him on a regular basis. We paired an Ariston in-direct 300 litre twin coiled cylinder with a Grant in-roof solar water heating system.
'Although we had our solar water heating system installed during the winter months, we have found that on the occasional sunny winter days we have not had to resort to any supplementary help from the immersion heater. Plus the fact, that as we now have a pressurised system the power showers are now a feature we have always hoped for.'
